Environment Our Infant program features a separate building designed specifically for children birth-33months. With everything accessible to them and the guidance and care of Primary care-giving teachers, they are able to learn through their experiences. Newly renovated, it is an appealing classroom where your infant is nurtured and cared for in a loving environment.
Program Goals Providing “tummy time” for your baby will allow his core muscle strength to develop. This will aid in sitting up, rolling over, crawling and ultimately begin to walk. By responding to infants needs consistently, promptly and lovingly, your baby will build trust with its caregivers Activity toys such as stacking rings, nesting cups and shape boxes help very young children learn about shapes, colors and cause and effect.
Program Director Stacy Shepperly is proud to direct our Infant/Toddler Program. Having been with KIDS FIRST Learning Place since 2002, she is deeply invested in the quality program we offer.
Infants and the Creative Curriculum The Creative Curriculum® helps us to focus our Infant/Toddler program on the needs of young children. Using a community approach, we are here to support families in the growth of their children. Infants and Toddlers are exposed to 7 different areas of growth and discovery, in combination with a daily routine they can depend on. What they are able to learn is tremendous! At KIDS FIRST we believe that Early Childhood Education should be a partnership. We look forward to joining your family on this journey.
